Join the celebration for our annual summer retreat in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Enjoy the perfect three-day resort experience with activities guaranteed to rekindle your creative juices, provide new activities and music to begin the year, further develop your planning with musical concepts in mind and put you in the “mode” for a successful teaching experience.
Be ready for the joy of experiencing, internalizing and improvising music with total emersion in the Orff process. Take home ideas, music and activities students will love. Be renewed with Music, Mountains and Modes.
Marie Blaney has been a chapter member for over 30 years. She served as our president from 1986-1988. She is a recognized teacher of Levels II and III teacher training courses and teaches in the Westchester University, Samuel Barber Institute each summer. Marie is eager to share her 40 years of teaching experience with us. Plan on coming to have fun!
Registration
- Registration for the Breckenridge Mini-Conference will be available after January 31, 2012.
One hour college credit or 15 hours toward licensure renewal available at the conference.
Registration Fees include breakfast and lunch on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. One
hour college credit is available for an additional (approximately) $55 or 15 hours of licensure hours are available for free through Adams State College. College Credit must be purchased at the conference.
