The Journey of a Thousand Miles: A Proverbs Project

Mary Helen Solomon takes you through a group of three workshops involving teacher-participants with creative tasks.  “A Proverbs Project” begins with ensemble training using speech, movement, sticks and frame drums.  These tasks and creative projects were generated in elementary and middle school classrooms by students and Mary Helen Solomon.  Children in our classrooms today will be faced with a world we cannot see or imagine, but their journey into the future can be improved if they learn to explore and develop their creative, intuitive potential.
